Weird Word Wednesday

Today's weird word is : wunderkind
Pronunciation: Voon-duhr-kint

Definition:
1. A child prodigy

2. One who achieves great success of acclaim at an early age.

My sentence: My parents always told me I was a harp playing wunderkind. I'm pretty sure they didn't know what that meant...

Let's hear some sentences! :D

I was getting really tired of being compared to the wunderkind next door. So what if he was the smartest guy in school and good looking to boot. He was also obnoxious and I hated him with all the feeling I could muster.

Harry Potter was totally wunderkind. But hey, I would've been too if I had a wand and a death wish from evil itself. We all have to live up to great expectations, maybe mine just weren't great enough when I was a child :)

Great word Chantele!

My brain is strangely blank this morning. Usually I would be putting a ridiculous sentence here, but I think I ate something yesterday that took away my sentence-making-abilities. The only thing I can think is that it must have been the dried apricots. I ate like half a bag. Maybe they're the anti-wunderkind fruit...

Liz- Ha ha ha ha!!!

Kayeleen- Great!! Now I'm intrigued. You better write a book about this guy! :)

Michelle- I heart Harry Potter.

Candice- That's why I steer clear of apricots in general! Just kidding. I just don't like them! LOL

My daughter is a reading wunderkind. Seriously. It's awesome to have a kid read so much.

It's hard being younger sister to the wunderkind.

Angie-Mine too! :D

Jolene- My son is too! I love listening to him read.

Myrna- I don't have any older sisters, but I can tell you that I am NOT a wunderkind to my younger ones! :)

One of my best friends said his parents called him a wunderkind violinist. I asked him "A wonder what?"
