My sentence: I refused to truckle when my husband thought he was right. Even though he was...

Let's hear some sentences! This one was hard!

I refused to truckle when my teacher told me I needed to write that essay. Now, I'm failing her class. (Thank god that isn't true!)

Isn't it weird how words that have similar meanings sometimes rhyme, like buckle and truckle?

I love that word! I will not truckle to peer pressure.

Wow, it seems like truckle should have a more positive meaning...it reminds me of turtle and chuckle...but then again I'm a little crazy. :)

I always love Wednesday's on your blog.

Sometimes I have to truckle to my character's. They certainly have a mind of their own at times :)

hehe... hmm... I will keep working on my WIP, even though I kind of want to truckle.

I truckled to my two year old and gave him a sucker after a half-hour of whining. True story.

Every day I look forward to the word of the day on dictionary.com. It makes me happy:)

I truckle to my kids more often than I should.

Nice word. Peter refused to truckle to his captors any longer.

If the definition includes the word obsequiously, it's probably too advanced of a word for me :)

@Demitria- That's okay. I'm a little crazy myself! ;)

@R.S.J.- I love dictionary.com too! It's so fun to see what weird word comes up every day! Some of them are a little too weird for me though...LOL

@Myrna Foster- Me too. Me too...

@Angie- Great sentence! :D

@Maggie It was definitely too advanced for me! I had to look up what obsequiously meant in the dictionary! LOL

Truckle is an odd word, it doesn’t sound very literary, more like the line of a bad joke (LoL) but here goes: “There would be no reasoning with this man but she certainly would not truckle to him like a serf to his king.”

How'd I do? :-)
