WIP updates

It's Sunday night. It's been a fun weekend in Colorado, but I am ready to come home. Vacations are fun and all, but I'm tired and need my own bed. :)
The drive home Monday should be okay. The drive here wasn't so bad. My kids are super good, and we survived. Even my one year old did great! I'll be glad to be home though!

In WIP news, I didn't get any writing done this weekend. Well, that's not entirely true. My agent is having me re-write the ending of my book, and I figured out where I want to go with it. I have it down on paper, I just need to re-write it on the computer, and hopefully he'll like it! I think it's ten times better now, and I'm crossing my fingers that he thinks the same. Other than that, my WIP is calling my name. Once I get my ending re-written I'll dive back into it. My brain is sort of mush right now, so I don't really have anything thoughtful to say besides ... I love peanut butter bars. The end.

How is everyone else doing? What are you working on? Writing something new? Revising? Querying?

That's totally writing, even if you're not putting pen to paper just yet! Terry Brooks calls it "book dreaming" and I do it all the time. A very essential element to writing. I'm sure your agent'll love it! Drive safe!

The fact that you got any work done on your WIP during vacation (with kids!)is amazing. Happy writing!

I got at least one chapter finished over the weekend. Only four more to go! I can't wait to finish it and go back to revisions on an older WiP! I'm glad you had a great weekend. Gotta love when inspiration hits...no matter where you are :) Good luck with the drive home.

I'm heading to Colorado this week! I've been to Denver once, but it was dark and I was only going to the airport, so I'm excited to experience more of the state. So, yeah, not much writing happening here as I try to get prepared! Hopefully I'll find time soon. And YUM! Peanut butter bars is something we can agree on. Unlike those yucky Cadbury mini eggs. :)

Hi, crusader finally popping in to say her hellos. I've just finished the first draft of my comedy romance. It's a mess at the moment, I started it for the NaNoWriMo and it has no chapters, no editing, and I changed from first person to third half way through!

@R.S.J. It wasn't much writing, but at least it was some! LOL
@ali
I hope he'll like it! :/ I always get so nervous! And we got home a few hours ago. It wasn't too bad. The kids were so good. Zonked out for the night already! :) It's good to be home! :)
