Today's weird word: Prink
Definition:
1.To dress up; to deck for show.
2. To primp.
My sentence: I do love to prink once in a while. It's hard staying home all day and not ever dressing up. Do we have any prinkers out there? (Pretty sure "prinkers" isn't a word, but you know me. I like to create my own!)
By the way. This word probably isn't the best to shout around town or teach your kids. It just sounds like a name you'd call someone. A not very nice name. Though, it is fun to say...
My baby sister turns 18 today. Weird. I'm getting old.
Oh, and my little guy is done with Kindergarten on Friday! HOLY CRAP!! This school year has flown by.! Literally. I'm waving at it right now.
I'm going to have a first grader. I'm. Going. To. Have. A. First. Grader.

Yeah, it definitely sounds far too close to that OTHER word that starts with a "p" and ends with a guy's name.
I'm not sure if you want to be congradulated on having a first grader at this point...so I'm just going to say. Congrats on having made it through kindergarten unscathed!
Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Boy, do I feel your pain! My little guy's about to enter first grade too, and I just want to grab him up and insist that he stop growing. Actually, I do do that. Frequently. It makes no difference.
I'm actually kind of disappointed in this word! When I first read it, I thought it would be a fun new onomatopoeia... you know, like clunk or bing. To me it sounds like the sound a piano makes when you tap one of the higher keys really quickly. Do you have any idea how much FUN it would be to use this word like that?!?!?!
But now I don't get to. I'm going to go sulk in the corner now. :(
My daughter definitley like to prink a lot more than her mom.
Awesome word! It's crazy how fast life goes by - my little baby brother is going to be a junior in high school this year! Still haven't adjusted to that idea yet.
@Tracy Thanks!! :D I agree about the OTHER word too! lol
@Heidi I know. I've tried to stop him from growing, but it doesn't work. ;) Good luck with your little guy! :D
@Reece Ha ha ha! Sorry about the sulking, but you made me laugh! :)
@Patti Ha ha! That was a great sentence! :)
@Sierra Gardner My sister is graduating next week. SO weird!!
