I'm BACK! Sort of...

Not having internet sucks. Seriously. I'm pretty sure I have a problem. My friends live in my computer. When I can't talk to my friends, I sort of have a panic attack. No joke.

Our internet company was supposed to come to our house last week to look at our lines outside and fix them. They called and canceled to this week. I was REALLY happy about that, if you can imagine. Anywho, I think we'll be getting it back today. Hopefully. Please...

So, how is everyone? I swear I've fallen off the face of the blogging world the past 2 weeks. And it sucks. Once we are back online I'll be around to visit you. I miss my friends.

In other news, I had a beta reader get back to me today with feedback on my book. She was SO sweet. I love her. She freaking rocks! And she liked it!! :D :D :D SCORE! I'm still waiting on a few more betas, so I'll start my revisions when I hear from them.

I've been torn between starting three different books. I have to write something while I'm editing another one, but I can't decide which one to write. Gah!! Dystopian, Paranormal, Contemporary fantasy... Hmmm... What to choose?

I finished DIVERGENT by Veronice Roth. LOVED! Read it. Now.

Anyway. How are you guys? Seriously. What's going on? Have I missed any good news, or fun things that have happened? Spill it! :D

I couldn't imagine! I would be in H-E-double hockey sticks without the internet! Welcome back!

And now you get to join in the wait until May for the next Divergent book :)

Does life really exist outside the internet???? jk. You should've come to the RWA conference with us in the mean time. You live in Utah, no? It rocked.

Oh...and I vote for contemporary fantasy. I think that is the most marketable right now. Just sayin.

Jessie, I do live in Utah! ;) I couldn't make it to RWA. I'll be at LTUE in February though! :D

Being without the internet is a horror story I don't want to live. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Nice to have you back! You haven't missed anything in my corner of the blogosphere.

It's been a good but kinda boring couple of weeks.

It's funny how much we rely on the internet now! And hooray for Divergent, it's on my TBR! Glad you loved it.

I've heard such great things about Divergent, I totally need to read it.

You should start a contemporary fantasy, there are a lot of paranormal, and dystopian books right now. Try something different.

Nothing new here, I changed my blog backround, but that's about it :)

oh and I think I might get into twitter...we shall see how much time I have though.

I've missed you! Not that I've been around much either. My husband has been home a lot lately and I try and not get on the computer too much. And I feel like my life has been taken over by a certain two year old. He's very busy.

So glad you loved Divergent! I did as well.

Ugh, internet troubles are the WORST. The web is like a lifeline! Hope your problems get fixed soon!

Also . . .this beta reader of yours sounds fantastic! ;)

Positive beta reads are the BEST! I love that you can bounce from genre to genre like that. That is a sure sign of a creative mind.

Not having the internet would suck! Yay, for you beta like your book.

As for what to write next, I usually listen and see who's talking the loudest in my head. LOL. Or, as I'm going about my daily life, what things I see, that seem to speak to a certian book.

Internet people can be such a pain. Hope they have things up and rolling again for you soon. When you get back on - come over and check out my new contest! Yep - that's whats big in the blogosphere right now. Ok- maybe not, but lets pretend. :)

I have two different small spats of being without my computer in the last few months. It is lonesome.

I hate it when my internet is out.

I think I just filled you in with my email ;D

My phone died for like four hours this morning, and it made me a little nuts until I could get home and charge it up.

Funny.

Go with the contemporary fantasy! That way I'll know it's a real genre...

I recently entered a short story contest. Links on my blog. Otherwise things have been pretty mellow for me Internet/writing wise.
