NaNoRevMo

Since NaNoWriMo was an epic fail for me at the beginning of this month, I'm happy to say, that after joining NaNoRevMo, I finished my revisions on Inbetween. I'm not saying I won't have more, since I'm waiting for a few betas, but that round is DONE.

I'm SO happy for all of you that finished NaNoWriMO OR NaNoRevMo. It's so hard cramming all those words and revisions into one month. But as I've seen on quite a few of your blogs, most of you were able to finish whatever you were working on. And that is awesome.

I still don't know why they picked November of all months to do this though. With Thanksgiving break any everything... Oh well. Might as well get used to it, right? ;)

So, how did November go for you guys? I'm curious to see how YOU did! What are you working on now?

I think I'm taking December off from any serious writing. Unless I have more to fix on Inbetween, but I'm not going to worry about that until I get some notes back. ;) I love Christmas time and I'm going to enjoy it. :)

Congrats! I attempted revisions this month and got a few things done but I'm nowhere near done with this pass of revisions. November just kind of got away from me. I have fever-pitch goals for December and the following months but I'm keeping those to myself so that I'm the only one who knows if I've gone down in flames where those are concerned.

I am almost finished with some revisions and then I'll send it on to my agent. I plan to enjoy Christmas holidays too! :)

Congrats on finishing your revisions. I got some revisions done the beginning of November and it was a huge relief to be done. :) Maybe they ought to move NaNo to a month life February or something - when it's too cold in most places to go anywhere.

Congrats for finishing your revisions!

I'm not sure why they have NaNo in November. It's much easier to start out great in the month, but that week of Thanksgiving slows things way down on the writing front. I managed to do more than I had before, but less than I had hoped.

NaNoWriMo was a complete fail for me, but I learned a lot. Congrats on your revisions, maybe I should have stuck to that instead.

I made it half way, but for me that was a huge win :)

I agree, I think I am going to take a step back in December and enjoy the month. January will wait for me. January is the time to set goals and attack them. Not December, when the focus is better spent on family and things that matter most! Thanks for all your inspiration. Happy last day of ReviMo!!!

I'm glad you reached your goals. I agree and I don't plan on letting revising get in the way of my holidays and January will wait for me. But, I still plan of trying to revise while I've got a good momentum going.

Congratulations on finishing your revisions. That's what I'll be starting on for a couple of novels next month and into the new year. I made my word count in NaNoWriMo. The novel still isn't done yet, though.

Good for you Chan! That is awesome! I can't wait to get writing again. Can't WAIT! Agh. So I am excited to write with Christmas going on, but I don't have to ruin Christmas with it. You are right about NaNo in November tho - honestly - what are they thinking?

The support was great, and I reached my goals, and a little bit more.
I'm starting a nw project now, and will look at my WIP in a couple of weeks time.

November is a terrible month for it! I don't know what they were thinking. Isn't January a much better month for it?

I'm so excited you finished revisions!

Aloha Chantelle,

Nice to meet you, too, and thanks for the follow:)

Have done the same and am looking forward to reading some more of your blog... especially the harp thing:)

Yes, I live in HI (with my Navy wife and 2.87 boys) but I was born and reared in Dublin, so the harp brings back some good memories of "Oirland" :)

Cheers and aloha!
