Ask Me Anything Day!

Yes, I know, I'm not that interesting, so I won't be surprised if no one comments today ... BUT, my little guy is sick and I'm not feeling too great either. In other words, my brain isn't working... With that said, if you guys have a question, whether it be about writing or me or whatever, ask away!

And David Powers King just reached 500 followers! Woot! Go check out his awesome contest, here! :)

Ha! I read a post on Peggy Eddleman's blog this morning about it. She's on my sidebar if you want to check it out, and her post has all the links and everything. ;)

This is the second time I have tried to comment on someone's blog but I cant find the comment box. This new REPLY function is messing with me. Is it my computer?

Do you miss running your book review blog? Or are you having too much fun as a writer now?

Chantele Sedgwick said...

That, my friend, is a mystery I don't even know. ;)

So, Chanete, now that you are a famous author/super-blogger woman, what project will you be working on next???

He he.

I think you should use your mad writing skills for a contemp, but yanno . . .

I do miss it sometimes. Especially the awesome books I used to get to review, but I really am having way too much fun being a writer. ;)

Ha! Super-blogger. That's funny. ;) Um ... I'm really leaning toward a contemporary. BUT, I have another paranormal I should be working on. Too many decisions! I'd love to write a middle-grade. If I only had the voice ... and brain. :)

I definitely concur with Jolene, you have become a super blogger. Contemp. sounds fun. I was going to try one but somehow it's turned very sci fi.

Chantele, what is your favorite time of day and why?

Yeah - loving DPK's giveaway! So cool. And you're way cool too, but I already have answers to all my questions! That's what I get for having you as a crit partner. :)
HUGS!

Oh, this is a tough one for sure. I love being with my kids all day, but I think my favorite time is when they go to bed. Around 8:30. Then I can relax with the hubby or write for a few hours until we go to sleep. It's wonderful after a particularly rough day. :)

Aww, feel better! I hate feeling under the weather, in any fashion :(

If a bird travels east at 50 miles an hour, and a train travels west at 100 miles an hour, what time is it in St. Louis?

Aloha Chantele,

Hope the kids and y'all don't feel too bad tomorrow... been there, done that... have a T-shirt I can sell you:)

Question, question, question.... hmmm.... Oh... Why did you start blogging in the first place, and how do you remain motivated?

Cheers!

Chantele Sedgwick said...

Iain: African or European? ;)

Lynne: Thank you! :)

Melissa: I'd say it would be about 2:00 in the afternoon. Give or take a minute or two. ;)

Mark: I actually started blogging to meet other bloggers. I had no idea what I was doing, and really wanted to join a community who knew what they were doing! lol :) Since then, I've made SO many friendships and am still meeting more authors every day. I don't want to give that up. I used to blog five days a week, but quickly ran out of things to say! So, now I do three times a week. That's something I can handle. Hopefully I won't ever get tired of it.;)

I hope you and your little guy are feeling better. My son is sick too. It's hard with a toddler who can't tell you exactly what's going on and what hurts. Any advice for taking care of a wee sick one?

How did you get to be so awesome? Do tell. Also, what is the most you've written in one day, what is your favorite sweet treat and what is your least favorite word? :)

Chantele Sedgwick said...

Christine: I'm so sorry your little guy is still sick! :( I just give lots of cuddles and kisses. Hopefully he'll feel better soon!

Ruth: I'm so NOT awesome! lol I'm not sure how much I've written in a single day... If I had to guess, I'd say 5,000 words. That was before I had three kids running around though. And it's not very much.

My favorite sweet treat? Almond Joy's. I do love me some Brownies on the Moon ice cream as well. :)

And my least favorite word would have to be : Just. But that's if we're talking about writing. I use it WAY too much! Mom could be my least favorite word some days! LOL :D
