1. Re-modeling a bathroom is fun to do. Fun to do, to do to do. Ya. Not really. :P
2. My alarm didn't go off yesterday, so my 1st grader was late for school. Funny thing is, I told my sister the day before that he'd never been late. Grrr....
3. I watched an episode of SHERLOCK last night. It was awesome. I'm thinking I need to watch the rest, like now. If you don't know what I'm talking about and have Netflix, Season 1 is on there. It's sort of like a mini series. And it's a contemporary take on Sherlock Holmes. I loved it!:)
4. Diving in to my new book. And it doesn't have a title yet! Gah!! That never happens! I'd better think of one soon. It was really hard to choose which book to write, but I think I've made the right choice for now. We'll see how it goes.
5. Words With Friends is SO addicting. I love it! (And Ruth, you're so going down.) ;)
Have a great weekend everyone! :D

The new season of Sherlock is supposed to be on soon (this weekend?). I loved it too - to me it felt like exactly what Sherlock would look like in a modern world.
the husband and I are addicted to Sherlock... so so good!!
Is that the Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbacht? We'rve just starting series 2 here. It's really good :o)
It's also really odd having you guys waiting for a series to start there. Usually we're waiting for your ones. lol
Good luck with the new book.
I need to watch Sherlock, clearly! Hate when the alarm doesn't go off, and you wake up in a panic. Such an awful way to start a morning!
Sherlock is in my instant queue. Sounds like I may have to bump it up the list some.
And I agree on the bathroom remodel thing. The significant other and I completely gutted our bathroom a couple of summers ago. Absolutely no fun at all. It's nice when it's done though.
Arrgh to the bathroom re-model. I have a good friend going through that right now and she's not the happy camper.
I better check out this Sherlock. Good to view a contemporary take.
And the alarm? Yeah, so Murphy's law.
Wishing you the best of luck with the new work in progress. That title will come to you before you know it.
Oh, it's been brought! :)
Out of the six people in this house, not one of us woke up on time this morning. My kids got ready in five minutes to catch the bus. It was amazing. They even wore matching clothes and brushed their hair.
So which book did you decide on?
Yay for new book! I've never played words with friends but I'm addicted to hanging with friends! Everyone says Words is better though, so maybe I'll have to try it out. Have a great weekend!
I've been eyeing Sherlock on Netfix--nice to know it is good. I know what I am doing today :) My hubby and I just finished remodeling our bathroom. I wish I would have known there was a theme song!
Is that the BBC Sherlock, bc I loved the first three episodes. I thought that was all...
And thanks for remiding me I need to recaulk my shower;)
Good luck with the remodel! They can be tedious.
I saw the second Sherlock Holmes movie in the theater, but haven't seen the TV show. I bet I'd love it.
I've just watched the first episode of the new Sherlock series. It's every bit as good as the first series :-)
See, now I went, "Bathroom remodel? Let me get my sledgehammer, plumber putty & kneepads!!"
I'm terrible with titles, so I rarely know what it is until after I finish the book.
Have a great weekend as well.
We remodeled our master bathroom the year before last. Not fun, I don't envy you. Good luck with it.
The first time I realized we'd never been late was the day before my son caught a violent stomach flu. :\
Remodeling anything is no fun! Or painting. Good luck!
I've never written without a title first either.
Good luck with the bathroom and the book! Titles can be hard. I'm sure you'll think of something great.
We are waiting until Chuck is over at the end of the month then we are cancelling the cable and getting Netflix. I can't wait to check out all the series (like Sherlock) that I've been missing.
Have a great weekend.
Sherlock is amazing! It's brilliant! Benedict was actually the other guy considered to play the new Doctor on Doctor Who. AND he is voicing Smaug in The Hobbit movie!
I keep meaning to watch Sherlock, but I never seem to have the time. I rarely have titles for my books until they're done. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Oh gosh - I'm glad that you don't really think that remodeling a bathroom is FUN! AGH. Ours was a nightmare. I feel for ya! On the other hand... what in the world is this Words With Friends, that everyone is talking about?
Sierra: I know, right? And he's hilarious!
Cristina: I haven't talked my hubby into watching it yet, but I will, dang it!
Iain: Yes! I love it! And thank you! :)
Meredith: It really is the worst way to start a morning. Luckily my son was a little happier that he was able to sleep in. He's very cranky in the morning. :)
M.J.: We're in the process of tearing out the linoleum and putting in tile. Pain in the BUTT! It should be done this weekend though. :)
Angela: Thank you so much! I hope I'll be able to write fast! :P
Ruth: I decided on the girl who lives in the funeral home and talks to ghosts one. ;) We'll see how it goes.
Amanda: I've heard hanging with friends is so fun! I need to get that one...
Angie: Sherlock IS good. I just love how insane he is! :) And you should totally sing that song. It pretty much goes with everything. ;)
Kelly: YES! BBC Sherlock! So awesome. And good luck with the shower re-caulking! We did that last week. :)
Emily: I LOVE the Sherlock Holmes movies. The TV show is pretty awesome too. I didn't think I'd like it, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Sarah: Good to know! :D
1000th Monkey: WOOT! Good luck with that! LOL Glad I could get you motivated! ;)
Patti: I love titles. It drives me insane not to have one when I start writing. Oh well. :)
Jessica: Thank you! It isn't fun. Though, it's almost done I think!
Jordan: Ugh. I hate it when that happens! That's the WORST!
Diane: Thank you! My hubby does most of it. He likes it. Sort of. ;)
Angie: Thank you! I'll leave the bathroom remodel to the hubby and I'll write. :)
Jenny: I've heard Chuck is so good! I may need to check it out. Netflix is fun. I really like it. :)
Patrick: I KNOW! I'm SO excited for The Hobbit!! :D
Christine: I don't really have time either. I was surprised I sat through the whole episode. I usually have too many things going on. I'll definitely watch the next one though!
Leigh: Oh, Leigh Covington. I just love saying your name. ;) Words with Friends is like scrabble. It's on facebook or your smart phone. It's FUN! :D
I love Words with Friends! I dominate :D
SHERLOCK!!! Love that show. Um, don't be too fast to watch it though becasue there is a major cliff hanger that makes me want to cry. Such an awesome show!
Samantha: I sucked at first, but I'm getting the hang of it now! :D
Jenny: NO!!!!! I hate cliffhangers!! :P I'll still watch it though. ;)
Yeah, bathroom remodels are not fun in the process but the end results are. I feel your pain on the title thing. I just had to retitle my book. Such a struggle.
Good luck with that remodeling. Been there done that. =) Have a great weekend.
Boy, I hate alarm clocks. You put all this trust in them, and then they fail. Worse of all, they wake you up as obnoxiously as they possibly can. Hope the new WIP goes well! And don't fret about titles. :)
I will be checking out Sherlock Holmes TONIGHT :D
Awesome.
I title my books after my people - at least in the beginning.
Also. Building is fun. Remodeling sucks. Good luck.
That's funny about your Untitled Unease - I haven't named my current book yet, even though I'm just a smidgen away from being done. And I didn't name my first book until it was done and edited, edited, edited! It's great how we all have different ways to pass go and finish the game with a winning story!
And thanks for the Sherlock tip! - I love Sherlock stuff!
Hang in there with the bathroom remodel, it's always worth it once it's done!
My wips are usually titled, but I often change those titles as I go!
I sang your first random thought, are ya proud???
I don't watch much TV, shame? not really :)
We can help you get a name for your novel on Thursday... see you soon.
I'm addicted to Words, too. But, I've narrowed it down to playing once in the morning and once in the evening, now. lol
I usually never have the title known until half way through the story.
Good luck with writing this week.
You are redoing your bathroom too? Omg...it's been the longest weekend EVER. We decided to redo EVERYTHING. Literally. Everything. Walls, floors, tub, sink, toilet, fixtures and cabinets. Lordy, it's too much work!
I should check out this Sherlock show. Seems there's nothing but good word on the street about it.
I don't know how you can start a novel without having a title first. That's just ludicrous. :)
Stephanie: Oh, man. I hate it when I can't pick a title. I'm mulling it over though. Hopefully I'll have one shortly.
E. Arroyo: Thank you! Not fun until it's all done, right? ;)
Madeline: Alarm clocks are the WORST! I am so not a morning person either. ;)
Jolene: Thanks, Jolene. Remodeling does suck. Hopefully we'll be finished this week!
Brenda: I'm curious about your new book... hint hint. ;) And I know you like Sherlock stuff. I hope you like it!
Joanne: I change my titles sometimes, but usually I keep them.I hate writing without one! lol :)
Melanie: Ha ha! I'm glad you knew the tune! ;)
Miranda: I need to narrow Words down. :P I play too much... ;)
Jade: Oh, man. That sucks!! We ripped out most everything. The toilet is sitting in our hall right now while the tile dries. Awesome, right? lol :)
David: I know! It's crazy, right? I don't know how I live with myself everyday...
Guess I should check this Sherlock show out. And I am SHOCKED you were late to school. Some mothers... *shaking head*
Katie: I know. I'm ashamed of myself. :)
