Random Thoughts From This Week

1. This pregnancy is seriously zapping all of my energy. I'm ready for bed at like 8:30 every night. No joke. I'm totally exhausted, which makes it hard to write. And critique. And read. And do anything really. Hopefully the next few weeks go by fast. I want out of this first trimester!

2. Crazy things happening this week. Details coming soon. Hopefully...

3. Does anyone else hate going to the grocery store? Especially with three kids hanging on you and throwing things in the cart? Haha. What's not to love, right?

4. I've been horrible at visiting blogs. See random thought number one.

5. Wedding reception tonight and baby shower tomorrow. Busy weekend. I love seeing family though!

Anything awesome and amazing happen this week? Do you have any plan this weekend?

1. I totally kicked myself when I got home for not seeing how the pregnancy was treating you.

2. My kids (and yours, too I assume) have Friday and Monday off. What to do? What to do?

3. Big news? Not really, but it looks like this summer I will be doing two church history tours and trek with the youth. So can February's big news be that I am doing stuff in the summer?

I'm with you on the store thing! I only go if I'm alone, my husband is with me, or my oldest is at school.

I'm going to wedding reception tonight as well. The crazy thing is, the bride was in beehive class when I moved into the ward. (I'm feeling old).

Oh yes, I HATE the grocery store-- and I only have 1 kid! Hope the exhaustion wears off soon. Hugs!

I know how you feel! If I don't get a nap every day, I'm worthless. Good luck and you'll be in the second trimester before you know it. I'm down to three weeks left. Crossing my fingers she comes sooner. I'm ready to be done! Have a great weekend!

Hope you feel better soon. I love the grocery store but I've noticed that love gets a little weaker with each kid I have to take with me.

Somehow I missed the fact that you are pregnant until this post. I guess I've been fairly self-absorbed lately.

So I'm extending you a very belated congrats.

I'm pregnant too, nearly five 1/2 months. I'm also in bed at 9:00 every night. This is my first pregnancy and I'm wondering how it's possible to be both hungry and nauseous at the same time.

1. Going to the grocery is always harder with kids in tow. I walk out with more/different than I intended.

2. You mean your energy comes back after pregnancy? Mine seems to have never recovered.

3. Another zap to energy level/creative anything is when your spouse comes down with pneumonia. Who knew pneumonia was such a beast?

Hang in there and enjoy your sleep!

I HATE grocery shopping. And I hate it even more when the kids are with me.. it takes me twice the time.

I'm sorry you're not feeling great. My littlest was up a lot last night so I'm dead on my feet today. But at least it's not an everyday occurrence!

Store+kids=mom at the end of her rope.

Have a great weekend!

With my last pregnancy, I remember sleeping during my lunch breaks at work, I was sooo tired.

Have fun at the wedding. It's family day weekend up here in Canada, so I'll be spending time with family.

Sounds like you're going to have a fun weekend! Though I hope you get some sleep in there. Can't wait to hear what crazy things have been going on this week!

The first trimester is killer. I hate being that tired. I hope it goes fast for you. It's hard going to bed that early - especially when there is more you want to do.

And don't get me started on kids at the grocery store. I bribe my husband to watch them at home as much as possible. lol

Bleh, being tired when pregnant is not fun! I hope you're not sick too!

And yes, I DESPISE taking my kids to the grocery store!!! Or any store, really. I always try to plan it when either hubby can come with me or just keep them home. (Though I prefer him coming because I don't like to shop alone, ha ha).

I haven't been as good about visiting blogs this week either and I don't even have pregnancy to blame it on. I hope you get feeling better soon.

Get your rest now while you still can! I hate grocery shopping too and I've only one kid to keep corralled. Have fun this weekend. :) I have a writers' meeting tomorrow. That will be my weekend thrill!

First trimesters are the worst! Take it easy. I hope you have a great weekend.

I'm currently in my third trimester with my fourth and it's WAY exhausting. Your body gets tired so much faster.

I remember the days of taking all four kids to the store. Now they're older and I have to beg them to get even one to go with me.
Have a fun weekend.

I bet a critique from you while you have first trimester baby brain would be super funny :)

Wow, that is a crazy busy weekend! Sounds like lots of fun though. Hopefully you won't get too tuckered out!

See what happens when I quit dropping in on blogs for a while? I didn't know you were pregnant! (Wait...isn't that a tv show?) Congratulations!

Also, I believe in chocolate as the cure to all ills. Wrote something today! Chocolate reward! Too tired to write something today? Chocolate consolation prize! See how that works?

New follower. Love your ladybug. I hate hate hate the grocery store. I'm a teacher so I always run into people I know. Awkward when you are buying wine or feminine products.
