What I'm Reading

Since I posted about awesome books last Monday, I'm going to start doing it weekly. I've been reading a lot lately and love sharing my love of books with you all. So, here are my book recs for the week!

Read:

So, I finished this amazing beautiful book a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. And that COVER! *drools* Definitely getting this one to look pretty on my bookshelf. This book was so interesting and amazing and beautiful. I loved the two main characters, the world, the COVER. Anyway, check it out. It's awesome. I'd compare it to Titanic in Space. Brilliant.

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

 Reading Now:

This book is super creepy and crazy and all of the above. An alien invasion, death, survival, etc. I don't know why it took me so long to read this, but it's awesome already. Can't wait to finish it!

In the After by Demitria Lunetta

 Up Next:

This is a new release and I love how different the cover is. Isn't it awesome? I remember when Jolene wrote this book. She says it has her favorite character she's ever written inside these pages. Can't wait to crack it open!

Stronger than you Know by Jolene Perry

In the After is one of my favorite reads from 2013. Loved it! I've been wanting to read TBS for forever. And Stronger than You Know sounds so good!

David: It's so creepy and good! Twisty too, which I love!

Kathy: I miss my review blog too. :)

Peggy: Oh, read These Broken Stars! It's SO good!

I liked These Broken Stars, but it felt more NA than YA to me. I didn't like the twist at the end.

Never heard of In The After, but I'm interested now. I love me a little creepy, and aliens usually make for a great story. =)

I'm just starting a historical fantasy, can't remember the title, but it's been a slow reading month. Too many other crazies to handle. I did start 7 different books in October, and actually finished 6. (The 1 was a big disappointment. *sigh*)

Crystal: I thought the twist was interesting too. In a good and bad way.
In the After was good. Not my favorite favorite, but it did hold my interest!
And I hate it when I read so many good things about a book and end up not liking it. :P

Agreed! I mean, we all have different tastes, but when I've been looking forward to a book and it just doesn't sit well? Not cool.
