The Adventure Begins Tomorrow.

Do you guys remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books when you were kids? I do. I loved them. It was so fun to read through every possible scenario and find out what would happen with whatever decision you made. I'd flip through those books for hours. They were so fun.

Earlier this year I joined Rachael Harrie's Second Platform-Building Crusade. There were over 200 of us. She broke us down into groups according to what genre we wrote in. I was in the Group 9 Crusaders which consisted of horror, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance writers for young adults. Tomorrow, I'll be doing a Choose Your Own Adventure bloghop with my Group 9 Crusaders. We each wrote a snippet that will take you through an adventure, forcing you to make a choice that will send you around to all of our blogs to see where your adventure takes you. As you make your way through the adventure please follow and leave a comment for these fantastic writers. You are in for a treat!

If you are curious about Rachael Harrie's Third Platform-Building Crusade, it starts on Monday, August 22, 2011 to October 31, 2011. Be sure to mark it on your calendar and sign up on the 22nd.

Our Choose your own Adventure Bloghop will be going live at 12.01am on Tuesday, May 17th. So pop back here on Tuesday and click on the Yeti banner to get to the start of the adventure. Happy hunting...I mean...photo-taking (and watch out for the Yeti)!

That's so fun! A while back I did a blog post thing like that on my own blog (you can see it here) where I took people through the publishing journey. It was one of my most popular posts, so I'm sure you'll get lots of participation. I'll be sure to check it out.

I always read every possible outcome of Choose Your Own Adventure books. It was a lot of work! Anyway, this blog idea sounds very interesting. Good luck!

Thanks for hopping by my blog--I left a question for you in my comments. I'd love to know what type of music you usually listen to if it is always the same kind! :-)

Great idea, Chantele.

With any luck I should have finished my current WIP by then and have time to browse ;)
