Today's word: Futz
Definition:
1. To pass time in idleness (usually followed by around).
2. A fool; a simpleton.
My sentence: I've been such a futz this week. He he. That's a funny word. :)
It's only Wednesday and I swear it feels like a Saturday or something. This week is dragging!

Oh my gosh do I futz around. So, so much.
I futzed around by making banana bread and working on a rewrite.
I like that word! I'm going to use it on my kids ha ha!
It seems like half my life is nothing BUT futzing around...
I just finished a really intense chapter (my MC is a former addict with post-traumatic stress disorder), only to realize that I don't know what happens next. I've got some ideas, but nothing solid, so I'm going to be taking a few days to stew.
Now that my husband is working his month of night shifts, I spend every morning futzing around waiting for him to wake up. And trying to keep a two-year-old quiet. Fun times.
Yesterday I thought it was Wednesday. When I woke up I thought it was Sunday. I can't even get my off days in order, LOL.
But maybe I'll forget it's Friday so I won't get too nervous about my pitch session!
My kids spend a lot of time futzing. I think I'll say that to them when I get home from work and see them lying on the couch.
That is an AWESOME word :D
I'm working on a co-author project that has taken over my brain and email inbox...
This week HAS dragged on. I've had absolutely no time to futz around. I have not written a single word on my revisions in over a week. Ugh! :)
