Random Thoughts From This Week

You know it's Friday when you can't think of an interesting blog post. Here are my random thoughts from this week in no particular order.

1. I like Slow Churned Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream. A lot. Good thing it's half the fat, right? ;)
2. Diets are no fun. No fun at all.
3. Writer friends are the best. They keep you going even when you feel like quitting.
4. My one year old is such a busy body. And climber. Won't. Stop. Moving. Even for a second. :P
5. Public swimming lessons are overrated. Especially when you have a busy body one year old that likes to try and jump in the pool while you are watching your older kids...
6. My new idea is so shiny. My precious...
7. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. I, for one, feel like a nut all the time. Mmmmm... Almond Joys...
8. Hubby is camping out with the older kids in the backyard this weekend. Me and 1 year old are camping in. :)
9. I definitely need a vacation. Like, soon. Too many things going on in my brain and I need some distractions.
10. I love fireworks.

The End.

Have a fabulous 4th of July weekend!

Haha, I think we were both on the same lines today - kids are tiring! I love Ben & Jerry's FroYo half-baked with brownies and cookie dough - even if you eat all four servings at the same time, it isn't THAT bad for you. ;)

Public swimming lessons are VERY overrated, I agree! This post made me smile. Hope you have a great Fourth of July! :)

I'll be having those public swimming lessons in August for my 4 year old...with my 1 year old to attend to at the same time. And yay for shiny ideas! Happy fourth.

Hooray for shiny new ideas! Writer friends seriously are the best. They always say "you can do it" and you just want to prove them right and make 'em proud. :)

Ha, I think our one-year-olds would get along very well. But we might go crazy if they got together...

And yes. Diets suck. Good luck!

That was a very happy, awesome post :D

Diets suck rocks.

Shiny new ideas make everything better.

I'm with you! Diets suck a lot! I intend to get these fifteen pounds of baby-three weight off and then keep it off forever so I never have to diet again!

Hmmm. So totally agree on the number 5. Gymnastics for the older kids with 15 month old crawling and running around EVERYTHING isn't my favorite hour of the week.

Diets suck, but when the scale is lower, ooooh it feels good.

And boy, I would love a vacation too.

Mmmm...I won't be satisfied until I eat an Almond Joy now, thanks a lot! :)

I love fireworks, too. Have a great weekend!

I just had the same thout about the slow churned ice cream this week. THANK YOU Dryers people for making it half the fat. When it is 112 F outside, I need me some ice cream.

I love this post. I agree that writers are the best, and shiny ideas make for a wonderful day, for sure. I'm a nut, too, and Mounds and Almond Joy bars are addicting. So are Tootsie Rolls for me, but the rolls on my middle disagree. Have a great holiday weekend, and I hope you get that vacation soon. Oh, and I think it's awesome that your hubby is camping in the backgyard with the kids. Good times & great memories.

I'm dying for a vacation right now. But not the kind where you get home and need a vacation from the vacation. I'm talking, the kid-less, quiet, do nothing kind. Yeah, I'd really like that.

Happy 4th!

HAPPY FOURTH to you, too!

Have I mentioned that I love your blog? I'm gonna put you on my blog list if that's OK with you.

Diet's aren't any fun. They aren't any fun at all.
Good luck with yours!

@erica and christy Uh...that sounds delicious. I may have to take a trip to the store... ;)
@Kara Ha ha! You have a great 4th of July as well! ;)
@Jessie Oliveros Good luck with swimming lessons! It's great to have the kids in them, but chasing my little one was NO fun! He he. :)
@Madeline Bartos Yes. And I WILL prove them right. :)
@Shallee One-year-olds are really so much fun. But exhausting!!
@Jolene Perry Thanks, Jolene! ;)
@Melanie Jacobson Yes. Shiny new ideas do make everything better! :)
@Heidi Tell me about it. My 3rd baby was the WORST weight gain. I'm working on it though! Hopefully... :)
@Maggie My little one is 15 months as well! Makes everything difficult AND tons of fun! ;)
@Jeigh Aren't Almond Joys the best? Seriously. Love them.
@Kaylee Baldwin Half the fat is so much better than all the fat! He he. Love Dryers. It's SO good!
@LynNerd The hubby is such a great daddy. I'm glad he likes to camp outside with them. Mommy isn't the campiest person in the family. ;)
@Becky Taylor Thank you!! We will!! :D
@Ruth Oh, ya. The kid-less kind. That is what I'm talking about. *sigh* I can dream, can't I? ;)
@Small Town Shelly Brown Thank you!! You are like the nicest ever! :D You can totally put me on your blog roll, but only if you let me put you on mine! ;)
@Emily Rittel-King Thank you!! Have a lovely weekend!!

Love your random thoughts. Brownie ice cream. Ugh. Now I'm hungry.

Happy 4th to you too. :)

I used to go camping all the time - but I quickly discovered it's not as fun when we're in charge, so the tent in the backyard is as close as it gets these days. Oh well.

Happy July 4th!

Diets are really difficult, and no fun at all. But it's such a necessary evil. :(

Tamara Hart Heiner said...

I will totally second the fact that diets suck.

I love sparklers! Hope you are enjoying your 4th and how did you ever escape camping?

Glad to find your blog.

@Monica B.W. Aren't fireworks the best! :D
@Donna K. Weaver I hope you got some brownie ice cream! :D
@Michelle Teacress I'm just not a camper. I'd love to be, but I need a real shower and toilet! And a real roof over my head... ;)
@Emy Shin I know what you mean. :P I hope you had a great weekend!
@Tamara Hart Heiner They do, don't they?:P
@Wanton Redhead Writing We just weren't a camping family! My mom hated it and sort of passed it to me... ;) Thanks for stopping by!!
