I'm BACK!!

Yay! It was so weird not blogging for a week! I don't think I've ever taken that much time off.

So, how was your Thanksgiving weekend? Or your non-holiday weekend? :) I actually got a lot done. Maybe I'll make a list on the things I accomplished...

Things I did last week.

* Cooked my own turkey and instead of it sucking, it turned out GREAT!
* Ate tons of pie. Like, way too much. Pumpkin, Coconut, Chocolate... Mmmm.... The extra pounds I packed on were totally worth it. Now to get rid of them...
* Went shopping on Black Friday! Stood around a thing full of DVD's at Walmart. Made a bunch of friends so we could help each other get what we wanted. When the time to take the wrap off the DVD case thing, I got trapped underneath everyone. I may or may not have punched my way out of the mess! (I did not. But I wanted too...) I'm glad all my Black Friday friends got what they wanted! They were very nice ladies. :)
*We went to Kohl's after. I don't think I've ever had to pee so bad in my life. And waiting in the cold did NOT help. Yes. Probably more information than you really needed to know.
*Finished with revisions on my book. I'm going through every scene now and making it shine. Beta's get ready. ;)
*My family is the greatest. I had so much fun spending time with them.

How was your weekend? Did you brave the crowds? Did you hear about that lady who pepper-sprayed people over a stupid X-Box? INSANE! I swear it wasn't me. ;)

YAY for you turkey turning out good. The first time I cooked one, I was SO worried it would suck. I did not go shopping, and I can't believe the woman pepper-sprayed. But, people are crazy.

Sounds like you had a great weekend!! All of my grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles came over, so that was lots of fun. My mom cooked the turkey by herself too, and it was delicious! Glad you had an awesome time :)

I did get a lot of work done and cookded two turkeys for our big gang. I don't do the black Friday shop thing but I'm glad you survived without pepperspraying anyone.

I'm one of those lame people who would rather overpay than brave the crowd. I did Black Friday at Walmart last year and I will never do it again!!!

I am amazed that anyone endures the cold, long lines, overfilled blatters, pepper sprays for shopping! I hope you got some great stuff:)

Ha, I take week-long blogging breaks all the time. ;) You're a brave woman to take on Black Friday. Friday I just ate.

Woohoo for finished revisions! Very exciting. :)

Glad you had an awesome Thanksgiving! And you even braved the Black Friday crowds. I didn't dare! I'm trying to do some shopping online today for Cyber Monday.

Ha, Black Friday scares me! Competitive shopping has never been appealing. Congrats on making a turkey and finishing up revisions! You've been so busy!

Sounds like a great bunch of things you did! I did NOT brave the crowds, but I loved the time off work, and getting lots and lots of all those little things done! That, and hanging out with family. That was the best.

The closest I've ever come to Black Friday shopping was this year, when I used Hastings' online deals to get my best friend's birthday and Christmas presents cheaper.

You accomplished a lot! I trotted out my once-a-year cooking skills and the dish was a success. :D

I also braved the crowds, but mostly, I hit up clothes stores. So it wasn't nearly as scary as WalMarts and Targets and Best Buys. I did got to Best Buy later in the day and it was still packed and I almost got into accidents like twice before I found a parking spot, so it affirmed my instinct to avoid those places on Black Friday. Haha. I did get some good deals though, so I guess I can't complain.

That's why I'm grateful to live by family who are amazing cooks, so I don't have to cook a turkey, but congrats that yours turned out well and welcome back.
