Random Thoughts From This Week

1. It's Spring! It's Spring! And it actually looks like it outside! Now watch it snow tomorrow or something.

2. I'm so jealous of everyone seeing The Hunger Games this weekend. I can't go until next week, but I'm SO excited. If you've seen it already, did you like it? Was it awesome?

3. We had critique group last night and my critique girls are so amazingly awesome. They brought me cupcakes and a card for my book deal and we talked and laughed for 3 hours. I even got a new nickname... but we'll save that for another post. LOL :) Hopefully we didn't drive the people at Barnes and Noble crazy!

4. I've been playing Draw Something on my phone. I have to say, I totally suck at drawing. Every time I draw something I sit there and laugh at myself after I send it to whoever I'm playing. Mostly because if I can't even tell what I drew, they won't be able to either. Ha ha. It's a fun game. Takes my mind off things for a few minutes each day. :)

5. I'm almost finished with my first round of edits on my book, so I'll be getting around to your blogs a little better. Hopefully next week. I apologize for the lack of commenting. The past few weeks have been crazy. But things should be slowing down soon.

How was your week? Anything to share?

Have a great weekend!!

Oh, I know. The weather's been so nice here too this week. I never get to work on my tan in March. It's going to be sad when the temperatures go back to where they're supposed to be this time of year.

I saw The Hunger Games at midnight. I enjoyed it so much I'm going to see it again on Saturday.

Hmmm... Let's see. Trying hard to make the kids play outside all the time. Finally starting to rewrite the last novel I was working on. Getting over morning sickness. It's been a good week.

I need to find a critique group I can physically go to :) Online is nice, but I would love to see people in person.

It snowed yesterday. ;( No spring for me. So fun that you get to hang out with your CP's and celebrate.

Have a great weekend!

Yay spring! It's such a relief when it finally comes.

I'm so sad I missed last night. I wanted to celebrate with you! And I know how silly you all are. Fun times. :)

Sanchez, huh? I don't get it. Oh well.

It's been in the 80's here. Won't be much longer and it will be too hot to go outside except to the pool.

Hope you have a great weekend.

It has been in the high 70s all week here. It's so awesome!!

Have a great weekend :)

I hope to see The Hunger Games this weekend if it's not too crazy! I'm ridiculously excited for it. My sister in law has been bugging me to download that drawing game, but I'm also terrible at drawing! My people look the exact same as when I was in pre-school, haha. Plus, I'm sure I'd get addicted and it will only add to my growing list of things that make me procrastinate :)

Yay for being almost done with the first round of edits!!

Cupcakes! Yay! Sounds like a sweet time with your CP crew.

Haven't seen the movie and may be a whiel before I get to.

Le Sigh.

Keep up with you edits and hope things continue on a positive note.

I'm seeing THG in an hour!!! AHHH!!!! I am sure it will be great, as Suzanne Collins herself did A LOT of the work (screen play, exec. producer, helped pick the cast, was on set a bit).
Where can I find your book btw? It sounds great! and thank you for the welcome to blogging :-) I updated lol about YA books I love

I can't draw either. It's pathetic, actually. : )

Take all the time you need for your edits. We'll see you when you get back. Enjoy the glory of publishing!

I won't be seeing it til Wednesday either. We can console each other :-)

Yay for spring! I have to wait to see The Hunger Games too. I've heard it was great, though. I had a productive week. Time to enjoy the weekend. Have a good one! :)

Ha ha, I'm totally addicted to Draw Something too. The funny thing is, I'm an artist for a living and I still suck at it (who can draw on a phone??)

I am waiting until the crowds die down a little before seeing The Hunger Games. I don't like crowds at theaters. And I am already bad at drawing...the last thing I need is another game to tell me really how bad I am :)

The movie was fabulous! I'd recommend not going at midnight, or sitting any closer to the screen than the half-way point. The further back the better. There is so much shaky camera going on, I honestly thought I was coming down with the flu!

Yay on finishing your edits! My goal is in two weeks from today.

I just jumped back into blogging after being gone for 3 weeks, but nothing new to share. Now you have me curious about your new nick name.

How about that snow this morning? And rain. And hail. We got a little of everything. Sounds like you had just as busy and productive week as I had. Very cool. Here's to another! :)
