Random Thoughts From This Week

1. So ... nothing interesting happened this week. To be honest, I haven't been the best blogger or commenter or tweeter or writer or anything this week. There has been so much going on that I haven't had time to do anything. I don't like feeling like this, so hopefully things calm down soon. I swear I'm still here and read all of your comments. They've actually kept me sane, so thank you guys.

2. I've hit rock bottom in my writing slump. I have three projects I'm working on and can't decide which will be the best to pursue right now. Grrr... I hate that. One's a contemporary, one's a medieval fantasy and one's a super power type book. Any suggestions? Blah. Seriously. I get into slumps usually twice a year and I HATE IT!

3. It's getting warmer outside! YIPPEE!! So excited for Spring! :D

4. There are only 2 months of school left. Can you believe it? I'm excited to get my kids back for the summer! :D I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that I'll have two kids in school next year. 2nd grade and Kindergarten. Makes me sad that they're growing up so fast. But on the bright side, it means I'm closer to having my baby!

5. I'm over at Paper Mountain today, talking about balancing writing and being a mom. Brooke is a teen who writes and she's AWESOME! Go head over and check it out and give her a follow. ;)

I'm taking this next week off to spend time with my kids who are on Spring Break. I'll be back after Easter! Have an awesome week next week and I'll be back with some fun stuff soon. Including a contest, the gender of my baby and a few other fun things. WOOT! :)

Enjoy your break - hopefully it will be enough to snap the slump - I'm planning on defeating the slump this weekend!

Have fun on break! I can't say which book to work on. Take the week off of writing anything and see which one your most interested in pulling up first when you come back.

Yes, I too have been in a slump. If you are feeling down and you want to get together to write, we should plan a writing get together! Wouldn't that be fun? Also, have a great easter. Eat lots of candy.

I'm astounded by the fact that the there is only 2 months of school left.

I'm working on medievalish fantasy, so that's what my vote is for. ;0)

Chantele, I hope you have a wonderful spring break! I can't wait for my kids to start theirs!

As for the book, I have noticed an upswing of Pinterest pinnings for one particular story. Perhaps that's the one!

Enjoy your holiday. my girls are on break too, but they're too busy revising for exams to have much fun!

You're on break, too! I decided that four times a year is completely acceptable, lol.

I HATE it when I just waffle between projects. HATE it.

When that happens to me I do a lot of crits and read a TON.

Good luck! I also jump around until one grabs me, and then what usually ends up happening is that a brand new idea will come out of nowhere, and I have to pursue it.

Sorry to hear about the slump...been there done that...will do it again, I'm sure.
I have one going to college this fall. :(
When I am torn between projects, I put the titles in a hat and draw at random. Isn't that professional?

One of your stories will whisper in your ear soon and the slump will end.
