Random Thoughts From This Week

1. All of these fires around Utah and Colorado are so scary. They've made me hold my family tighter and I'm so grateful for everything that I have. I hope the fires get put out quickly. There are a lot of people being affected. :(

2. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. YAY! My doctor said I'm measuring a week early, so I'm crossing my fingers that she'll change my due date. ;) I'm so happy I'm almost done. Then I'll finally feel like myself again.

3. I've noticed a lot of bloggers slowing down this summer. Which is a good thing. You should be out playing while school is out! Just have some fun. It's nice to take some time off and not worry about posting every day. Have you guys done anything fun this summer already?

4. I got my bookmarks this week in the mail. I love them. Sure they're homemade, but I think they're cute! And it makes this whole book coming out in a month seem so much more real. I'm getting excited, but super nervous for people to read it. I guess that's normal though.

5. My writing has slowed down lately. It will pick back up when the baby is born. I'm about 1/3 into my Fairy Tale sequel, so that's awesome. I also have several projects that need attention but I've learned I can't focus on just one thing when I'm not feeling great. So ... we'll decide what craves my attention in a few months.

Have a great weekend!

I'm hoping the fires are brought under control very soon. Having been near a wild fire before, I can say it is a scary thing.

I think my blogging has slowed a bit this summer as well. I'm not as able to hit up other blogs like a used to be and put in comments like I like. But I've been making good progress writing.

Bookmarks! YAY! Release date is getting closer and closer.

Ugh, those fires scare me. I've been thinking about all of you in Utah and Colorado.

Yay for bookmarks. ;0) And for close due dates. And for babies. :0)

Have a great weekend.

Thankfully the fire 10 miles south of me got put out quickly and with the least amount of damage possible. Excited for you to not have pregnant brain any longer than necessary :)

i'm trying not to slow down even though I'm on holiday in UK at the minute... It's so hard when you lose impetus, I think, but I know what you mean - it's not the be all and end all of life! Good luck with the book and with the pregnancy!!

And yet they're still allowing fireworks. Sigh. The fires are so awful. And some so preventable. (I think at least one of the Utah ones was caused by lightning but most were caused by people.)

Sigh.

Yay for almost-book-release!

It can be so hard to even think while pregnant. I took a break towards the end of my last pregnanct, and until I got back on my feet again. Good luck with the last little stretch, it seems like the longest part.

The fires are scary. Some of our local firefighters are out west helping.
I'm sure those first weeks after the new baby arrives won't be great writing production time.

Playing with kids is EXACTLY what I am doing instead of blogging. And I'm loving it :)

I'm so excited for both of your babies to meet the world!
