Overwhelmed

I've been trying to decide on a good blogging schedule that works for me. I think I've decided to narrow it down to posting on Monday's and Friday's. Monday's will be things like books I'm reading, books coming out from authors I know, writing and stuff like that. Friday's will be my random thoughts, as they normally were. :)

In between planning a book release, being sick every day and approaching my baby's due date ... (Beginning of September) I've realized I've gotten a little overwhelmed. I promise I'm not neglecting you guys. I just can't do it all right now. BUT, this new blogging schedule should help me find a little balance and hopefully I won't worry about everything anymore.  I read an amazing post on why authors tend to fall behind in blogging and everything by Michelle Davidson Argyle. It was very thoughtful and I think everyone feels this way sometimes. You should take the time to read it. It's VERY true and a lot of what I'm feeling.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good week!

Sending hugs! It's easy to get overwhelmed with so much going on, and I hope your new schedule makes everything easier. :D

We all understand! Just take care of yourself and that little baby! You're growing a human--it takes a bit out of you!

Work life balance is BS! I applaud you for aiming to obtain as much as you can.

And personally, I'm a huge fan of blogs with less frequent posting. Too much content, too little time! With the convenience of my RSS feed, I'll know whenever you post and will be around for it.

I'm impressed that all you pregnant people do all that you do.

Also, I love the header on your blog. So stinkin' cute!

You know we'll be here whenever you post, however often that is. :)

Sometimes you just have to slow down, Chantele. And don't be afraid to take a break. It can be the most wonderful feeling in the world.

Speaking of breaks, I just got back from a two week one (arts camp!) and I am loving your new blog design! I missed the post with your cover reveal, but I will definitely be going back to check it out.

As much as I love blogging; I have to remind myself...it means nothing if I'm not writing the books...and it's seriously worthless if my children become feral. Slow down. Without worry.

That's my schedule now because it did become overwhelming.
